Happy New Year! I hope everyone has had a nice time making a few memories through the holidays wherever you may be. Here in Nelson we have had endless summer sunshine and beautiful weather for adventures and trips to the beach. Having had such a wet and windy spring the daily sunshine has been a real treat.

 

In the start of this month you may have come across an article on Stuff written by Amy Ridout. I actually met Amy in September, at that time she was interested in my story and asked if I would be interested in having an interview. We agreed that when she next had a space in her schedule we would catch up for a chat.

 

I have to commend Amy on having a clear vision for what part of my journey she wanted to share. I was a little bit nervous not having the opportunity to read what was written until it was published. She did a great job.
